in the Universe Are Created:

the Theory of the Universe.

 

 

1. Creation of the Universe by God Is a Fiction:

The Established Religion and Philosophy

Are Unable to Reveal the Secret of the Birth of Man.

 

 

There are two points of view about the principle of the creation of human beings and all the phenomena in the universe. One is the creation of human beings and the universe by God claimed by the monotheism of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Another is the theory of the principle of natural law claimed by Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, etc.

The Buddhist idea is that all the phenomena in the universe came out of emptiness; in Hinduism, from Brahma; in Taoism, from the great Way. If we include the process of creation, in Buddhism, they are emptiness and the law of causality; in Hinduism, Brahma and the theory of transmutation; and in Taoism, the great Way and the theory of the birth from the Way.

However, the theories of the universe of Hinduism and Taoism lack the substance of the process of creation of human being, therefore remain as the empty theories of the universe. About the creation of the universe by almighty God claimed by monotheism contradicts the modern science and is not only a fiction but also contrary even to common sense.

Reasons are: 1) Less than ten thousand years of history of creation claimed in the Bible, the contradictions of the process of creation, and the theory of creation from complete emptiness. All these contradict the truth of modern science.

2) Creation of infinite number of plants, animals, human beings, and from immeasurable grain of sands to the solar system in six days is wholly out of common sense.

3) If the creator of the universe is the God of love, why did the lord create the physically handicapped and unhappy people? Why do the good people suffer when the bad people live happily? There is no way to explain them no matter how you try.

In the case of philosophy, we can see the origin of subsistence in the following five ways: the theory of material origin, the theory of metaphysical reality, the theory of theism, the theory of existentialism, and the theory of agnosticism. However, we could not reveal the profound secret of the process of creation of human being and all the phenomena in the universe in such ways.

In the case of science, there is a common theory of big bang for the creation of all the phenomena and the universe. However, they cannot explain how and why it had to be the theory of big bang, let alone the explanation of the situation prior to the big bang.

 

 

2. The Creation of Human Being and All the Phenomena

in the Universe from Emptiness and Then

through Common Actions (共業) of Sentient Beings,

Emptiness and the Law of Causality.

 

 

　　There is no almighty God who created the myriads of phenomena in the universe. The principle of the creation of the universe is the combination of karmic actions of sentient beings, emptiness, and the law of causality.

In the Surangama Sutra, the Buddha discoursed, "All the myriad phenomena in the cosmos and the universe are created as if all of a sudden a piece of cloud appears in the empty blue sky." Recent Buddha's (Sambhogakaya's) words are more distinct, "God is the idol created by human beings. No master ever existed in the dharma-dhatu. The one who is unified with the essence of the universe and becomes his own immaculate dharma-body becomes the master of the ultimate realm of true suchness. All the sun, the moon, the stars in the sky have arisen naturally and then return to nature just as they came."

Emptiness is a self-existent entity. Emptiness is the everlasting great cosmic life of reality that pervades in the whole universe (plenum-Void). Emptiness itself is wisdom, love, harmony, and light. Emptiness also has an intrinsic power of creation and the program for its operation, and in the realm of universe, there are innumerable universes.

In Buddhism, the spatial structure of the universe is called "the infinitely great manifold cosmos of the Buddha-realm." The universe has the four eternal cycle of arising, abiding, dissolution, and then to emptiness just as we have the cycle of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and also the seasonal cycle of spring, summer, autumn, and then winter on earth.

A cycle of the universe from arising, abiding, dissolution, and then to emptiness takes eighty kalpas with twenty kalpas for each cycle: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. At present, it is the kalpa of abiding, and Buddha manifests only in the kalpa of abiding.

When the kalpa of dissolution comes, all human beings and the myriad phenomena in the universe dissolve, and when the kalpa of emptiness comes, the substance of human soul revolves to the spiritual seed and then return to emptiness from where it originally came.

 

 

3. The Unsurpassed Secret of Humanity and the Creation

of the Universe: the Theory of the Nature

of Subsistent-self.

 

 

1) The Substance of Soul Revealed in the Emptiness

of Self, the Seed of Humanity.

 

The universe is created and then operated by the powers of emptiness, the common karmas (共業) of sentient beings, and the law of causality. The Vulture Peak Buddhism expounds the creation of all the phenomena in the universe from a new point of view that everything in the universe arises from emptiness (plenum-Void) which is in fact the original nature of the universe.

When the time of the kalpa of creation comes, from the noumenon of the universe manifest the material agent and the seed of the emptiness of self as the spiritual subsistence. Along with this process, by the energy of emptiness itself, the material agent and the emptiness of self, with the mutual association of the endless chain of non-hindrance, creates the finer spiritual substance.

This spiritual stage of the substance of human is called the substance of soul. The first to reveal from the emptiness of self is the substance of soul No. 1. When the substances No. 2 and 3 reveal themselves following the substance of soul No. 1, karma starts to stick to them. Such is the way how the human beings with the substances No. 1, 2, and 3 reveal themselves.

The human being with the substance of soul is 'the self and master of oneself', the noumenon of self, and the main constituent of creation. It is also the nucleus of cause and conditions, transmigration, and enlightenment. The creation of the physical universe starts when the big bang happens by the power of emptiness itself with the association of the common actions of the sentient beings.

About the world after the big bang, it can be explained by the modern science for a certain extent. It is now about 137 billion years since the creation of the universe, and the earth, 45 billion years since the creation of the universe, the modern science claims.

 

 

2) The Substance of Soul Is Born as Human Being

with a Physical Body with the Ancestors

from the Realm of Stars as Parents.

 

 

Now I am going to uncover the greatest secret of the birth of human beings with a physical body. Man born with the substance of soul described above, will return to the world where he lived at the time of the kalpa of dissolution. If he was in hell, he will return to hell; if he was in the heavenly realm, he will return to the heavenly realm.

However, if the man of the substance of soul was in the physical body of man at the time of the kalpa of dissolution, he cannot return to the physical body of man, because without the mediation of parents, one cannot receive the physical body of man. Therefore, this substance of soul must enter into the uterus to be fertilized when a couple is copulating, and there also must be the substance of soul No. 4 to be born with a physical body.

However, the problem is that all human beings were destroyed at the time of the kalpa of dissolution and not a single soul is to be found now. However, nature has prepared a special measure for human beings. It is to remove the people living in the another world of different level of existence to the earth. People living in this special domain were removed here at the time of kalpa of dissolution to preserve the human race. They are all selected representative people of the world according to their cause and conditions.

This domain is like a heavenly paradise beyond our universe. They live there with a son and a daughter, and their longevity is known to be fifty years. However, one day in that heavenly paradise is scores of years on earth.

When the time of kalpa of arising comes and the earth is habitable, they return to each of their continent on earth and become the ancestors of human being. Accordingly, the people of the substance of soul establish an affinity of parents with these people of the ancestors from the heavenly paradise, enter into mother's womb to be fertilized, grow for ten months in mother's womb, and then born as human being.

At this time, when the substance of soul No. 4 is created in mother's womb, the human beings are born in this world with four substances of soul and a physical body. It is like a fairy story, completely incredible.

Thus, the theory of the origination of all the phenomena from the essence of the universe, not from conditions, of the Vulture Peak Buddhism centered on 'self' is the theory of subsistent-self entirely different and unique from the theory of the established Buddhism centered on 'non-self'.

Especially, the secret of the process from the growth of the inherent seed of human beings to the substance of soul, and then to human beings with the physical body is the first theory of its kind. It reveals the subsistence of the heavenly paradise, a kind of incredible dream, a master piece proclaimed for the first time by the Vulture Peak Buddhism.

It is the proclamation of the cosmic meta-religion of the Vulture Peak Buddhism that revealed the unsurpassed truth no other religion or philosophy could ever even dreamed of. It is also the pride of our country as a fashionable philosophy of pure Korean bland originated in Korea.

I. Why Must It Be the New and

the Vulture Peak Buddhism?

 

 

The Vulture Peak Buddhism is the new Buddhism of the cosmic truth to open the age of orthodox dharma by subverting the current mislead and diminished Buddhism of the era of decline of the illustrious doctrine founded by the Great Master Gwangmyeong Mandeok, Venerable Kasyapa, and the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon, Venerable Ananda, who have succeeded the dharma lineage of Buddha.

 

 

1. The Vulture Peak Buddhism Is the Orthodox

Buddhism Which Succeeded

the Dharma Lineage of Buddha.

 

 

1) Venerable Kasyapa and Ananda Who Were Entrusted

the Orthodox Dharma by Buddha.

 

 

Buddha entrusted the dharma lineage to the Lord's disciples Kasyapa and Ananda at the time of the Vulture Peak congregation. The transmission of the dharma robe by the Lord to Mahakasyapa at the Vulture Peak congregation; the three occasions of transmission of mind to mind from

Buddha to Kasyapa; and the testimony of the transmission of the orthodox dharma discoursed in the Anguttra-nikaya all support the truth of transmission of the dharma to the two venerable disciples by the Buddha.

In the Mahaparinirvana Sutra of the Mahayana Buddhism, Buddha discoursed to the disciples, "As I have transmitted all the illustrious laws I have discoursed to Mahakasyapa, he will be a great prop for all of you to rely on in the future." In the Sutra of Great Compassion, Buddha also commanded to Ananda, "I am transmitting the unexcelled, perfect enlightenment I have attained through incalculable billions of eons of time and the stores of great law to you now. Therefore, don't forget to expound them without amiss so that they will not be terminated."

 

 

2) The Lawful Disciples of the Orthodox Dharma Gwangmyeong Mandeok, Venerable Kasyapa, and the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon, Venerable Ananda, Founded the Vulture Peak Buddhism.

 

 

The Most Honored Buddha is abiding at Hyeonjisa Temple manifested in Buddha-body at the time of the 21st Century, 2,600 years after the entrustment of the orthodox dharma so that the Lord could help the Venerable Kasyapa and Ananda attain the Buddhahood and then take them along with Him. Another reason the Lord decided to abide at Hyeonjisa Temple as the permanent abode is to open the new Buddhism of orthodox dharma.

Both Gwangmyeong Mandeok, Venerable Kasyapa at the time of the Vulture Peak congregation, and the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon, Venerable Ananda at the time of the Vulture Peak congregation, attained the Buddhahood in Korea with the help of the Lord Buddha. The Great Master Gwangmyeong Mandeok also became the crown prince and succeeded the unsurpassed law of the Buddha in the status of enlightened Buddha.

With the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon, the crown prince Venerable Ananda, the Great Master also founded the Vulture Peak Buddhism on the 15th day of the sixth moon in lunar calendar 2551 (BE) to open the new age of orthodox dharma. On this day, the Great Master Gwangmyeong Mandeok transmitted the dharma lineage of the Buddha to the Great Master

Jajae Manhyeon and bequeathed the dharma robe of thirty-three patches as a token.

 

 

3) The Secret of Three Triangular Dots of the Letter (伊字三點 ∴) of the Nirvana Sutra and the Advent of the Orthodox Dharma.

 

About the secrets of Buddha's renunciation of the mundane world and the advent of the orthodox dharma, we can find them in the Mahaparinirvana Sutra, the Flower Garland Sutra, Anguttrara-nikaya, or the Graded Collection, etc. The secret of the three triangular dots of the letter we find in the Longevity Section of Mahaparinirvana means that three Buddhas who are all equipped with Triple Body--Dharmakaya, or the body of pure being or essence, Sambhogakaya, or the body of manifestation of the universal Buddha-essence in symbolic form, and Nirmanakaya, or the body of transformation--will manifest in the world.

However, the truth is that the two of the three Buddhas manifesting in the world are the Great Master Gwangmyeong Mandeok and the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon, the successors of the orthodox dharma of the Buddha.

About the orthodox dharma, the Mahaparinirvana expounds that the indoctrinations of Agama are the 'half-lettered teaching (半字敎)' which is only the fundamental teachings, and in the future, 'full-lettered teaching (滿字敎)', that is the higher level of teachings will emerge. This is what we call the new Vulture Peak Buddhism of the 21st Century.

 

 

2. The Vulture Peak Buddhism Is the New Buddhism

that Overturned the Mislead and Subsided Current Buddhism.

 

 

The common problems of current mislead and subsided Buddhism in the world are the triple non-existence of Buddhism: the non-existence of Buddha, the non-existence of the substance of human soul, and the non-existence of the way of practice to become a Bodhisattva, and the fundamental reason of all this is the misleading interpretation of 'non-self'.

 

1) The Current Buddhism of the World

Is the Buddhism without Buddha.

 

 

Buddha subsists as such in the absolute reality of non-self beyond the time and space and also beyond existence and nonexistence. However, the current Buddhism does not know the subsistence of living personality of Buddha, who is actually Smbhogakaya, or the manifestation of the universal Buddha-essence.

They say the mind is Buddha. They think the Buddha who entered nirvana in India 2,600 years ago returned to emptiness and exterminated. The Lotus Sutra, The Sutra of Golden Light, and some other important Mahayana sutras and treatises confirm the subsistence of Buddha, yet they do not listen to them, and this is the actual circumstances of the present Buddhism of the evil time of the five turbidities. The Buddhism that does not know Buddha and does no know the Lord's power of deliverance is not Buddhism.

 

 

2) The Established Buddhism Misleads the Theory 　

of 'Non-self' and Denies the Substance of Soul.

 

 

The doctrine of 'non-self (無我)' of Buddha means nonexistence of the substance of all the phenomenal world, and its practical meaning is, of course, renunciation of "the attachment of self" and "the greedy mind." However, the established Buddhism misinterprets it and then misleads the people by denying the substance of human soul which is the subsistence of the realm of noumenon beyond the phenomenal world.

They claim that as there is no substance of self, there must not be a subject or the nucleus of transmigration. On the basis of this misinterpretation, to solve the contradiction of "the theory of 'non-self' and the nucleus of transmigration," they developed diverse theories for more than 2,000 years, but none of the nonsensical theories were convincing. What's more, this mislead theory of 'non-self' became the principal offender of the deterioration of Buddhism.

If you deny the substance of man, the nucleus of transmigration and enlightenment, and Buddha and Bodhisattvas, there is no reason for Buddhism to exist. I once again emphasize that the substance of soul which is also the substance of human being subsists and the nucleus of transmigration is none other than the substance of soul.

 

 

3) There Is No System of Practice to Become

Buddha and Bodhisattvas

in the Current Buddhism of the World.

 

 

The objective of vipassana meditation of the southern or Hinayana Buddhism is to become an arhat. As it relies entirely on the self-power, there is no way to become a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. On the other hand, the meditation practice of the northern Seon or Zen Buddhism is not the traditional practice of Buddhism. Especially, Hwadu contemplation meditation of the Korean Buddhism is the Outside Way practice that is not in the Buddhist sutra.

The meaning of doctrine such as, "Seeing self-nature and attaining the Buddhahood." or "Mind itself is the Buddha." is a foolish talk which could not distinguish attaining the Buddhahood from realizing the self-nature. The catch phrase of the Tibetan Buddhism, "This body itself is Buddha," one of the three practices of the triple secret (三密), with which one can, they say, attain the Buddhahood, is also a foolish logic that blaspheme the Buddha-body and belittle Buddhism.

The Buddha-body, or the Body of Bliss is realized in the ultimate reality in selflessness when one is completely unified with the original nature of the universe, not on the level of the practice of the triple secret of the Tibetan Esoteric practice. The nature of yoga, one of the three steps of practice of the formless yoga tantra, is the practice of the Outside Way. I want to tell you that the only way to become a Buddha or a Bodhisattva is invoking the name of Buddha.

 

 

3. The Vulture Peak Buddhism Is the Teaching

of Sambhogakaya in the Present Age of 21st Century.

 

 

Sakyamuni Buddha manifested in the physical body in India 2,600 years ago to plant the seed of Buddhism and then expounded Agama, the fundamental teachings of Buddhism. About five to six hundred years since then, Buddha sent His avatar such as Manjusri Bodhisattva to the mundane world to edit the Mahayanas sutras and taught more elevated teachings than at the time of the Vulture Peak congregation.

And then again in the 21st Century, the Lord incarnated in Sambhogakaya, or the Body of Bliss, in Korea to guide the Great Master Gwangmyeong Mandeok and the Great Master Jajae Manhyeon so that they could attain the Buddhahood, and then transmitted the optimal level of consumate teaching through two great masters. Therefore, the Vulture Peak Buddhism is the Buddha's teaching in the present age of the 21st Century.
