1. The Structure and Function of the Substance of Soul:

the Secret of the Four Substances of Soul.

 

 

Human being is composed of four substances of soul and a physical body. The physical body is composed of four great elements: earth, water, fire, and wind. The substance of soul is the essence of life which has a form similar to the energy of electromagnetic wave and has consciousness and memory.

The substance of soul is overlapped in four by something like a sticky screen in the form of staircase. It is composed of super corpuscle smaller than elementary particle with double function of particle and wave. If we see it from the point of wave, the substance of soul is the essence of life that has very short wave. In other words, it is the substance of life that has the form of energy of electronic wave with great many vibrations.

If we divide the four substances of soul of human being into 1, 2, 3, and 4 according to the level of their quality and characteristic, No. 1 substance of soul is highest in its quality, and from No. 1 substance of soul down to No. 4, their quality drops down accordingly. No. 4 substance of soul is 100% similar to our body.

The substances of soul No. 1, 2, and 3 have a little different features but their roots are almost the same. The substances of soul No. 1, 2, and 3 always move around in group, and a notable truth is that they are everlasting and never die.

The substance of soul has many functions, such as activities of life and storing the kama. The substance of soul No. 4 is the copy of our physical body, and has a function of connecting the other three substances of soul. With the physical body, it functions as the origin of preservation of life, chiefly in the realm of emotion and desire.

However, this substance of soul No. 4 is the substance of life born in the womb of the mother and its life is limited, not everlasting like substances of soul No. 1, 2, and 3. When it enters into the nether world, it drops out.

The substance of soul No. 3 assumes mainly the function of emotion. On the other hand, the substance of soul No. 2 assumes mainly the intellectual functions, such as analysis, reasoning, memory, etc. The substance of soul No. 1 is the subsistence of light entirely beyond the particle, and assumes mainly the functions of reason and wisdom. Among these four substances of soul, the substance of soul No. 1 is the essence of man, that is, the noumenon or the intrinsic nature of man.

 

 

2. The Substance of Soul Is the Noumenon of Human Being

and the Nucleus of the Law

of Causality and Transmigration.

 

 

The substance of soul as the nucleus of human being becomes not only the main body of transmigration but at the same time the nucleus of karmic actions, and our good and evil actions will be reflected in the substance of soul and receive retributions accordingly.

Our karmic actions thus recorded in the substance of soul can be called the score sheet of our life. Unless we are released from transmigration, we are all destined to go to the eternal cycle of six realms of either hell, hungry ghost, animals, human, asura, or heaven according to the score sheet of our life. This is called the transmigration of the six realms of karmic existence.

The substance of soul is the nucleus of the recipient of retribution and must be the main constituent of transmigration in the six realms of karmic existence. However, by misinterpretation of 'non-self (無我)', the established Buddhism denies the substance of soul, and argues that the mind and perceptions are the nucleuses of transmigration.

They also argue that there is no need of the nucleus of transmigration claiming the theories of the inheritance of karma or five aggregates. It is truly a deplorable fact which is in fact the grand obscenities that defames Buddhism.

There cannot be transmigration without 'self', and including the storehouse of consciousness, the mind and perceptions can never be the nucleus of transmigration. Transmigration without 'self' is against the law of cause and effect that the person who committed karma must receive its retribution.

According to the law of cause and effect, there must be the nucleus of karmic action and the nucleus of the recipient of the retribution, and its logic is that the two nucleuses must be the same. Another true fact is that without six roots, or six sense organs, consciousness is neither able to store the karma nor become an independent entity.

How the consciousness without a body, and the consciousness that rise and fall every instant go to hell, to heaven, and attain enlightenment? Even little children will laugh at it.

If you deny the substance of soul which is the noumenon or intrinsic nature of ourselves on the ground of the misinterpretation of 'non-self', you will lose the logic of karma, transmigration, and enlightenment. You will also lose the ground for the subsistence of Buddha and Bodhisattvas. Not only that, there will be no ground for the Buddhism to stand.

In conclusion, we can say that the substance of our soul is the fellow traveller of the sentient beings in hell and the Buddha as well as the master and noumenon of human being.

 

 

3. The Immaculate Path and the Path of Separation

of the Substance of Soul

and the World Each Substance of Soul Go.

 

 

The sentient being's substance of soul is greatly defiled. It is like something just picked out from the container of filth. It is dirty and smells bad. It also looks like the charcoal soot. Let's see what is the color of the substance of soul that goes to each realm.

The color of the substance of soul that goes to the three evil ways, hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, is black. The color of the substance of soul that goes to the heavenly realm (54 stages of the 1st to the sixth heaven) is white, but the color of the substance of soul that goes to the six heavens of desire is grey. The substance of soul that goes to the heavenly realm of arhat (27 stages of the 1st to the 3rd heaven) emanates light. The substance of soul of the arhat which is released of transmigration emanates light just like the full moon.

 

The next is the path of separation and the realm where the substance of soul goes. The substances of the most sentient beings are completely stuck together, but the purer the substance of soul, the feature of the soul reveals more clearly and separates from each other more distinctly. The substances of soul of the heavenly beings in the heavenly realm are all stuck together, but their shapes reveal like five fingers.

The substances of soul of the arhat released of transmigration are separated as the shape of the hand of a duck. However, the substances of soul of the Pure Land Bodhisattva are completely separated. In the case of Buddha, the four substances of soul act freely as separate entities.

 

The next is to see the realm to which each substance of soul goes. The dead spirit that is not allowed to enter the nether world goes to the intermediate state of the dead spirit between heaven and hell in the form of the substance of soul No. 4.

The substance of soul No. 3 (including the inner part of the substance of soul No. 4) goes to hell. The substance of soul No. 3 goes to the heavenly realm, but the substance of soul No. 2 goes to the heavenly realm of arhat.

The substance of soul No. 1 goes to the heavenly realm of ultimate bliss. The rest of the substance of souls are overlapped in the each substance of soul. In order to go to the ultimate realm of Buddha, all the four substances of soul must be a ball of light, yet the four substances of soul are able to act separately, and each substance of soul is also able to manage tremendous power.

1. Creation of the Universe by God Is a Fiction:

The Established Religion and Philosophy

Are Unable to Reveal the Secret of the Birth of Man.

 

 

There are two points of view about the principle of the creation of human beings and all the phenomena in the universe. One is the creation of human beings and the universe by God claimed by the monotheism of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Another is the theory of the principle of natural law claimed by Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, etc.

The Buddhist idea is that all the phenomena in the universe came out of emptiness; in Hinduism, from Brahma; in Taoism, from the great Way. If we include the process of creation, in Buddhism, they are emptiness and the law of causality; in Hinduism, Brahma and the theory of transmutation; and in Taoism, the great Way and the theory of the birth from the Way.

However, the theories of the universe of Hinduism and Taoism lack the substance of the process of creation of human being, therefore remain as the empty theories of the universe. About the creation of the universe by almighty God claimed by monotheism contradicts the modern science and is not only a fiction but also contrary even to common sense.

Reasons are: 1) Less than ten thousand years of history of creation claimed in the Bible, the contradictions of the process of creation, and the theory of creation from complete emptiness. All these contradict the truth of modern science.

2) Creation of infinite number of plants, animals, human beings, and from immeasurable grain of sands to the solar system in six days is wholly out of common sense.

3) If the creator of the universe is the God of love, why did the lord create the physically handicapped and unhappy people? Why do the good people suffer when the bad people live happily? There is no way to explain them no matter how you try.

In the case of philosophy, we can see the origin of subsistence in the following five ways: the theory of material origin, the theory of metaphysical reality, the theory of theism, the theory of existentialism, and the theory of agnosticism. However, we could not reveal the profound secret of the process of creation of human being and all the phenomena in the universe in such ways.

In the case of science, there is a common theory of big bang for the creation of all the phenomena and the universe. However, they cannot explain how and why it had to be the theory of big bang, let alone the explanation of the situation prior to the big bang.

 

 

2. The Creation of Human Being and All the Phenomena

in the Universe from Emptiness and Then

through Common Actions (共業) of Sentient Beings,

Emptiness and the Law of Causality.

 

 

　　There is no almighty God who created the myriads of phenomena in the universe. The principle of the creation of the universe is the combination of karmic actions of sentient beings, emptiness, and the law of causality.

In the Surangama Sutra, the Buddha discoursed, "All the myriad phenomena in the cosmos and the universe are created as if all of a sudden a piece of cloud appears in the empty blue sky." Recent Buddha's (Sambhogakaya's) words are more distinct, "God is the idol created by human beings. No master ever existed in the dharma-dhatu. The one who is unified with the essence of the universe and becomes his own immaculate dharma-body becomes the master of the ultimate realm of true suchness. All the sun, the moon, the stars in the sky have arisen naturally and then return to nature just as they came."

Emptiness is a self-existent entity. Emptiness is the everlasting great cosmic life of reality that pervades in the whole universe (plenum-Void). Emptiness itself is wisdom, love, harmony, and light. Emptiness also has an intrinsic power of creation and the program for its operation, and in the realm of universe, there are innumerable universes.

In Buddhism, the spatial structure of the universe is called "the infinitely great manifold cosmos of the Buddha-realm." The universe has the four eternal cycle of arising, abiding, dissolution, and then to emptiness just as we have the cycle of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and also the seasonal cycle of spring, summer, autumn, and then winter on earth.

A cycle of the universe from arising, abiding, dissolution, and then to emptiness takes eighty kalpas with twenty kalpas for each cycle: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. At present, it is the kalpa of abiding, and Buddha manifests only in the kalpa of abiding.

When the kalpa of dissolution comes, all human beings and the myriad phenomena in the universe dissolve, and when the kalpa of emptiness comes, the substance of human soul revolves to the spiritual seed and then return to emptiness from where it originally came.

 

 

3. The Unsurpassed Secret of Humanity and the Creation

of the Universe: the Theory of the Nature

of Subsistent-self.

 

 

1) The Substance of Soul Revealed in the Emptiness

of Self, the Seed of Humanity.

 

The universe is created and then operated by the powers of emptiness, the common karmas (共業) of sentient beings, and the law of causality. The Vulture Peak Buddhism expounds the creation of all the phenomena in the universe from a new point of view that everything in the universe arises from emptiness (plenum-Void) which is in fact the original nature of the universe.

When the time of the kalpa of creation comes, from the noumenon of the universe manifest the material agent and the seed of the emptiness of self as the spiritual subsistence. Along with this process, by the energy of emptiness itself, the material agent and the emptiness of self, with the mutual association of the endless chain of non-hindrance, creates the finer spiritual substance.

This spiritual stage of the substance of human is called the substance of soul. The first to reveal from the emptiness of self is the substance of soul No. 1. When the substances No. 2 and 3 reveal themselves following the substance of soul No. 1, karma starts to stick to them. Such is the way how the human beings with the substances No. 1, 2, and 3 reveal themselves.

The human being with the substance of soul is 'the self and master of oneself', the noumenon of self, and the main constituent of creation. It is also the nucleus of cause and conditions, transmigration, and enlightenment. The creation of the physical universe starts when the big bang happens by the power of emptiness itself with the association of the common actions of the sentient beings.

About the world after the big bang, it can be explained by the modern science for a certain extent. It is now about 137 billion years since the creation of the universe, and the earth, 45 billion years since the creation of the universe, the modern science claims.

 

 

2) The Substance of Soul Is Born as Human Being

with a Physical Body with the Ancestors

from the Realm of Stars as Parents.

 

 

Now I am going to uncover the greatest secret of the birth of human beings with a physical body. Man born with the substance of soul described above, will return to the world where he lived at the time of the kalpa of dissolution. If he was in hell, he will return to hell; if he was in the heavenly realm, he will return to the heavenly realm.

However, if the man of the substance of soul was in the physical body of man at the time of the kalpa of dissolution, he cannot return to the physical body of man, because without the mediation of parents, one cannot receive the physical body of man. Therefore, this substance of soul must enter into the uterus to be fertilized when a couple is copulating, and there also must be the substance of soul No. 4 to be born with a physical body.

However, the problem is that all human beings were destroyed at the time of the kalpa of dissolution and not a single soul is to be found now. However, nature has prepared a special measure for human beings. It is to remove the people living in the another world of different level of existence to the earth. People living in this special domain were removed here at the time of kalpa of dissolution to preserve the human race. They are all selected representative people of the world according to their cause and conditions.

This domain is like a heavenly paradise beyond our universe. They live there with a son and a daughter, and their longevity is known to be fifty years. However, one day in that heavenly paradise is scores of years on earth.

When the time of kalpa of arising comes and the earth is habitable, they return to each of their continent on earth and become the ancestors of human being. Accordingly, the people of the substance of soul establish an affinity of parents with these people of the ancestors from the heavenly paradise, enter into mother's womb to be fertilized, grow for ten months in mother's womb, and then born as human being.

At this time, when the substance of soul No. 4 is created in mother's womb, the human beings are born in this world with four substances of soul and a physical body. It is like a fairy story, completely incredible.

Thus, the theory of the origination of all the phenomena from the essence of the universe, not from conditions, of the Vulture Peak Buddhism centered on 'self' is the theory of subsistent-self entirely different and unique from the theory of the established Buddhism centered on 'non-self'.

Especially, the secret of the process from the growth of the inherent seed of human beings to the substance of soul, and then to human beings with the physical body is the first theory of its kind. It reveals the subsistence of the heavenly paradise, a kind of incredible dream, a master piece proclaimed for the first time by the Vulture Peak Buddhism.

It is the proclamation of the cosmic meta-religion of the Vulture Peak Buddhism that revealed the unsurpassed truth no other religion or philosophy could ever even dreamed of. It is also the pride of our country as a fashionable philosophy of pure Korean bland originated in Korea.
